What is low-dose naltrexone (LDN)?
Naltrexone is an FDA-approved medication. Low-dose naltrexone, often called LDN, uses much smaller doses than the standard 50 mg tablet, so it is prepared by a compounding pharmacy. LDN is prescribed off-label. Talk with your prescriber about whether it is right for you.
Which LDN strengths and forms do you offer?
Healarian Pharmacy compounds LDN in-house in vegan capsules, in three strengths: 1.5 mg, 3 mg and 4.5 mg.
What else is in the capsules?
We use MEDISCA Capsule Blend H as the filler. It is lactose-free and contains no common allergens, and the capsule shells are vegan. If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, tell the pharmacist before we fill.
Do I need a prescription for LDN?
Yes. LDN requires a prescription from a licensed prescriber. We fill and compound it once we receive your prescription.
When can I start?
We are taking LDN prescriptions now, and first fills begin in late October 2026. Call or text 212-317-0828 to get on our list, and ask your prescriber to send your prescription to Healarian Pharmacy. We will let you know as soon as it is ready.
Can I move my LDN prescription from another pharmacy?
Yes. Call or text 212-317-0828 with your current pharmacy and prescription details, and we will handle the transfer for you.
Is LDN covered by insurance?
Compounded medications are often not covered by insurance plans. Call or text 212-317-0828 and we will go over the cost with you before we fill.
Do you deliver LDN?
Yes. Healarian Pharmacy offers free same-day delivery within ZIP 10128. You can also pick up at 1658 3rd Avenue, near 93rd Street.
